Environmental labelling for packaging

For CCM, responding promptly to change is key to maintaining the high level of service we have offered our clients and partners over the last 50 years.

This is why all our food wrapping and packaging products already are already labelled with their environmental data, which will soon become a mandatory requirement.

GUIDELINES ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL LABELLING OF PACKAGING:

• Producers must label all their packaging (primary, secondary and tertiary) with the alphanumeric codes envisaged by Decision 97/129/EC;
• All packaging must be labelled in the way deemed most suitable and effective by the company in view of the objective, including the use of digital channels (e.g. apps, QR codes, websites) either instead of or as a supplement to the information marked directly on the packaging itself;
• Packaging for consumers must also provide information on sorted waste disposal, including an invitation to refer to local municipal regulations.
