CCM’s commitment to being a business that creates sustainable innovation has led to the organisation of events like the conference held on 9 October 2024.
These are occasions for the know-how and competency of our staff to dialogue with local communities, sharing best practices for cooperation, in this case with the agrifood value chain.

It was a pleasure to host Legacoop Estense and the various national guests at our premises, to discuss the application of the new European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which will govern the transition of the packaging industry towards greater sustainability by 2030.

As stated by our president, Davide Faietti, this is “a formidable, and yet absolutely necessary, challenge if European industry is to move towards more sustainable production and consumption, reduce its environmental footprint and accelerate the transition to a circular economy”. Ilaria Franchini, director of the agrifood sector of Legacoop Estense, said that “businesses must immediately start to work together and create strategic alliances along the entire value chain”.

The media’s attention to the conference confirms the level of awareness about these issues, in relation to which CCM continues to be a leader and privileged partner for brands wanting to be ready for the incoming European packaging regulations.
