Two days of talks on the future of packaging and the planet.

Two days of Speeches & Talks, hosted by CCM Packaging and LifeGate, will bring the stand to life in partnership with CARTEX and COPTIP.

A series of sessions will focus on the most relevant topics in the sector, with special attention to new European regulations and innovative solutions that are reshaping the packaging industry, along with a thought-provoking discussion on the media and how we perceive events.

January 14 – PPWR Packaging Regulation: Opportunities and Challenges for Large-Scale Retail, Branded Goods Manufacturers, and Collective Catering
The first event will focus on the PPWR – EU Regulation 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste, which introduces a more stringent and harmonized approach to packaging management across the European market.
This regulatory update also creates opportunities for the collective catering sector, including improved corporate image and social responsibility, innovation in logistics and operational systems, and genuine environmental sustainability.
The session will highlight potential opportunities while also addressing the challenges and possible constraints that companies may face.

January 15 – The 10 News Stories from Planet Earth in 2025
The second day will take a more accessible and engaging approach, featuring a talk dedicated to a selection of the most surprising, curious, and meaningful news stories that in 2025 have illustrated how our planet is changing.
