This is why our managers are specifically qualified to communicate our values and who we are.” Davide Faietti, President and Managing Director of CCM, continues: “We are very proud that this year – our fiftieth anniversary – we are presenting our first Sustainability Report, and we are convinced that it will prove a valuable tool for creating value and demonstrating that CCM is a business with important ideas and know-how.”
The Report sets out 4 macro values to be realised over the next 3 years: People (Human Approach), Projects (Development Partners), Packaging (Sustainable Innovation) and Sustainability (Working Responsibly).
For each such value, we have set out improvement objectives to enable us not to lose sight of our commitments.
“During this first year, we will focus on the safety and wellbeing of our employees, staff training, and initiatives to make our workers more united and improve their ability to work as a team.”
The first project realized this year consisted in training and working together with Modenese technical colleges, so as to bring young people under the age of 35 into the company and enable them to grow, with a particular focus on logistics and production. “A second project focused on creating solidarity among our workforce, using team building workshops and sporting events as opportunities to work as a team, involving every level of the company from shop floor workers to managers. We are also actively engaged in supporting the local community. In September, on the occasion of the celebrations of CCM’s 50th Anniversary we will donate an ambulance to the Modena Croce Blu (Blue Cross voluntary association).
